I opened the mail yesterday and found a check for an editorial shoot I did in January.......2007. I had given up on it long ago after several unreturned emails and phone calls to the photo ed. Silly me for just giving up and not understanding their 17 month payment policy.
It's so lame that it's rad.

Well, you have me beat on this one... I had one mag take about 12 months to pay.
And I'm sure your check was as substantial as mine.

the unreturned emailsand phone calls sounds like my domain provider for sak-yant.com(globat); i have written almost 150 mails over 2 years and still no answer!
what's up with this corporate controlled thieving world?
im not sure why you didnt walk in their office and smash a bottle over the editor's head, but my reason for not burning the globat building down is the fact that id have to cross the atlantic first to get there.lol
seriously though, how can these people expect you to work and then wait for them to make some interest off the money in their accounts for a year and a half before they pay you?
Where i was born the guy would be in a hospital bed now.
